Leadership Experience
Throughout my 4 years at Virginia Tech, I made time for extracurriculars in addition to my coursework. Instead of just being a member of organizations, I took the initiative and served in leadership roles relating to marketing, public relations, and advertising to further develop my professional skills.
Collegiate Women in Business
Collegiate Women in Business works to empower, connect, and prepare female business students for their careers by offering networking opportunities with major corporations, notable alumni, and peers within the club. I have been an active member of Virginia Tech’s CWIB club since 2020. During this time I have served on the Marketing Committee as a content creator, committee coordinator, and VP of Marketing. In the Spring of 2023, I was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer where I led the Marketing Committee, managed the club’s social media, designed and handled the ordering and delivery of merchandise, worked with other officers to market events, and presented my work in monthly meetings.

Wishmakers at Virginia Tech
Wishmakers is Virginia Tech’s club that raises money for Make-A-Wish through fundraising events. I was elected Director of Social Media and PR in the Fall of 2021 and have held this position since then. I am in charge of posters, flyers, and social media posts for the club’s events and meetings as well as coordinating merchandise. During my time in this role, the Wishmakers club has increased their campus awareness, followers, and fundraising by at least 300%.
